The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 will start in the early hours of Friday in India on August 30.

Organised by Cricket West Indies (CWI), CPL 2024 will see as many as six teams compete in a total of 34 T20 matches across five weeks.

Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots,Saint Lucia Kings and Trinbago Knight Riders are the six teams that will participate in the 12th edition of the Caribbean Premier League.

As per the CPL 2024 schedule, each team will play the other sides twice in a double round-robin format. The top four teams in the standings after all the league matches will qualify for the playoffs.

In the playoffs, the third and fourth-placed teams will square off in the Eliminator while the top two teams in the standings will clash in the Qualifier 1 for a place in the final.

The winner of the Eliminator will later face the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2 for the other spot in the final.

The CPL 2024 final is scheduled to be played on Monday, October 7 as per IST.

Guyana Amazon Warriors are the defending champions of the Caribbean Premier League after they defeated Trinbago Knight Riders by nine wickets in the CPL 2023 final.

Meanwhile, Trinbago Knight Riders are the most successful team in the league’s history with four titles.

The likes of Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Nicholas Pooran, Faf du Plessis, Heinrich Klaasen, Wanindu Hasaranga, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Imran Tahir are some of the international stars that will feature in the upcoming T20 tournament in the Caribbean.

Organised by Cricket West Indies, the 11th edition of the Caribbean Premier League will see six teams compete in a total of 34 T20 matches across 40 days.

Apart from Jamaica Tallawahs and Saint Lucia Kings, Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Trinbago Knight Riders are the other four teams that will battle for the CPL 2023 title.

As per the CPL 2023 schedule, each team will play the other side twice in a double round-robin format. The top four teams in the standings after all the league matches will qualify for the CPL 2023 playoffs.

The third and fourth-placed teams will face each other in the Eliminator, while the top two teams will clash in Qualifier 1 to secure their place in the final.

The winner of the Eliminator will later square off against the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2 for the other spot in the CPL 2023 final.

The Caribbean Premier League 2023 final is scheduled to be played at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Monday, September 25 (as per IST).

Jamaica Tallawahs beat Barbados Royals by eight wickets in the 2022 final to claim their third CPL title.

Trinbago Knight Riders are the most decorated team in CPL history with four titles. Barbados Tridents (now Barbados Royals) have won the CPL on two occasions, while St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have clinched the title once so far. Here’s a look at the CPL 2023 points table.

The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2023 started on August 17 and will conclude on September 25 (as per IST).

Featuring six teams, a total of 34 T20 matches will be played across 40 days in CPL 2023.

Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, Saint Lucia Kings, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Trinbago Knight Riders are the six teams that will compete for the CPL 2023 title.

Jamaica Tallawahs captain Brandon King scored the first fifty of CPL 2023 against Saint Lucia Kings in the opening match of the tournament. 

King slammed 81 off 53 balls to power his side to 187 in their 20 overs. His innings included nine fours and three sixes. King’s knock helped defending champions Jamaica Tallawahs register an 11-run victory at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground.

The West Indies star batter also finished with the most runs in the Caribbean Premier League last season. King amassed 422 runs in 13 matches for Jamaica Tallawahs at an average of 38.36 and a strike rate of 135.25. Barbados Royals�?Kyle Mayers was the second-highest run-scorer in CPL 2023 with 366 runs in 12 matches.

The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2023 will start on August 17 with the Saint Lucia Kings facing defending champions Jamaica Tallawahs in the early hours of Thursday in India.

Organised by Cricket West Indies, the eleventh edition of the CPL will see six teams play a total of 34 T20Is over 40 days.

Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Saint Lucia Kings and Trinbago Knight Riders are the six franchises that will compete for the CPL 2023 title.

As per the CPL 2023 schedule, each team will play the other twice in a double round-robin format. The top four teams in the standings after 30 league matches will qualify for the CPL 2023 playoffs.

The third and fourth-placed teams will clash in the Eliminator, while the top two teams will battle in Qualifier 1 to book their place in the final.

The winner of the Eliminator will later lock horns with the loser of Qualifier 1 in the Qualifier 2 for the remaining spot in the CPL 2023 final.

The Caribbean Premier League 2023 final will be played on Monday, September 25 (as per IST).

Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Warner Park, Kensington Oval, Queen's Park Oval and Providence Stadium are the five venues that will host CPL 2023 matches.

Reigning champions Jamaica Tallawahs defeated Barbados Royals by eight wickets in the 2022 final to clinch their third CPL title.

Trinbago Knight Riders are the most successful team in the tournament with four titles so far.
